Microfilming is our specialty. In addition to saving considerable storage space, microfilm is the obvious choice for many because of document integrity. Make Guardian your choice for these microfilm applications:

  • 16mm - This process is most commonly used for the storage of letter and legal sized documents. All of our work is done on Kodak Reliant Microfilmers to ensure the highest possible image quality.
  • 35mm - This process is used for architectural plans, engineering drawings, newspapers or blueprints. Filmed images can be left in roll form, loaded in jackets, or mounted on aperture cards. We utilize Kodak MRG-1 planetary cameras for all 35mm applications.
  • Jackets - 16mm images can be loaded in 3x5 or 4x6 jackets. Your necessary information is then typed on the jacket label.
  • Aperture cards - Documents such as engineering drawings are mounted on aperture cards after the filming process.
